The Port of Iberia is finalizing the purchase of 40 acres from Bernard Port Properties, LLC. The property is located behind the Port administration office between Lewis Street and Pesson Road. The Port received $2.4 million in capital outlay funds from the State of Louisiana for land acquisition and canal dredging. This will create more waterfront property with road and rail access.
