RedGuard, an expert in design and building of blast-resistant buildings, has recently purchased the former Geo Marine property at the Port of Iberia. This manufacturing facility is in addition to their Curtis Lane location.
CSC Sugar, LLC, a leader and innovator in sugar trading, distribution and refining, has recently purchased surplus sugar from area sugar mills Patriot Construction, formerly LeBlanc Marine, is providing material handling and loading the sugar to barge at their Port of Iberia facility. CSC Sugar operates dry transfer and liquid sugar plants in El Paso and Fort Worth, TX, Covington, TN, Chicago, IL and Fairless Hills, PA.
Dynamic Industries, Inc. has completed delivery of 92 pre-assembly modules for one of the world’s largest energy companies. These modules are being used in a polyethylene plant in Pennsylvania. They are continuing fabrication on 38 pre-assembly modules for a Propylene Oxide and Tertiary Butyl Alcohol plant located in Texas. Dynamic’s superior work continues with their recent contract with Marathon Oil for fabrication of 20 plus modules. Lyondell Basell of Lake Charles has also contracted with Dynamic for a large number of modules that have begun construction as well. Their Lake Charles Plant produces polypropylene that customers use to make clothing, food packaging, household furnishings, automotive parts and home building materials.
Chart Industries is busy with production of cold boxes and brazed aluminum heat exchangers for Venture Global’s 1- MTPA Calcasieu Pass liquified natural gas export terminal project. The construction of the comprehensive LNG technology solution for this project will be delivered on a multi-year schedule. Chart Industrial is in discussions with other Port of Iberia companies to assist with this project.
