Port Channel
The Port Channel measures 8 miles in length from the main entrance of the Port to the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. This waterway provides access to the Gulf of Mexico as well as the entire nation. Its depth is 13 feet. Its width is a minimum of 125 feet at the bottom and a minimum of 200 feet at the surface.
Acadiana Navigational Channel (ANC)
The Acadiana Navigational Channel measures 16 miles in length from Gulf Intracoastal Waterway across Vermilion Bay to the Gulf of Mexico. Its depth is 9 feet. Its width is 150 feet at the bottom and 200 feet at the surface. View the channel map »
Acadiana Gulf of Mexico Access Channel (AGMAC)

Road
Over ten miles of roadways access the Port of Iberia. The main thoroughfares are hard-surface, asphalt roads. Long-range plans are for new roads, for additional access roads, and for four-lane thoroughfares in and out of the Port, including access to future Interstate 49 corridor.
Rail
The total rail frontage at the Port of Iberia is 13,000 linear feet.
Utilities
Natural gas, water and sewerage.
Bulkhead
There is 25,000 linear feet of bulkheads at the Port of Iberia.
Public Dock Facility
The Public Dock facilities offer both long-term and short-term docking services. Facilities include 3,000 linear feet of bulkhead load-out area, stabilized yard, electric power, water, security lighting and fencing, restrooms, and parking.
Marina
The Port of Iberia offers 22 boat slips, both covered and uncovered for recreational and commercial vessels. Short-term moorings are also available.
Proposed Cruise Ship
The Port of Iberia is currently the Port of Call to two cruise ships and is expanding with a proposed Cruise Ship Terminal.
